Who Am I: photogram

Today we did photograms , first we scanned our drawings onto the computer to be then put onto acetate. Then we took them into a dark room, where we put it under an enlarger, using special photo paper , the image on the top left hand corner was the  first image, as it was a practice one, we only used half a piece of normal sized photo paper, heres the proces from bottom to top, photo paper, acetate, glass, then cardboard which was moved slightly after every five second exposure, once the exposing process was done, we dipped them into different types of chemicals, first was the developer, which we kept in for a minute, I personally found it slightly difficult to keep track of the time , plus getting the photos out was a bit of a struggle because of the tongs we were using. After the developer we put it into the stopper for another minute, then the fixer for 5 minutes, then a sink for 10. When she had the normal sized photo paper, we exposed the images for a minute,

Who Am I: collage making

Today we have been  doing collage work. I decided to pick my monkey from my shoe box, overall I found the process easy, as I was able to pick out the colors I needed. Overall, I think the process went well, the only thing I would need to improve on is the toning and the layering. Just down below is a work in progress of my collage.
